SECRETARY KERRY: Let me just say to the members of the press that it’s a great privilege for me to welcome the Prime Minister of Qatar, the Secretary General of the Arab League, and the very distinguished group of foreign ministers and ambassadors, who are all here to have a very key discussion with respect to the Middle East peace process and other issues in the region. And I think it’s important that we have an opportunity to be able to talk frankly, begin our discussion. We will have, I hope, a comment at the end of this when we’ll have a chance to be able to meet with the members of the press. So Mr. Prime Minister, Mr. Secretary General.

PRIME MINISTER HAMAD: Just we would like to thank in my behalf the members of the delegation for this evening. I think it’s an important meeting, an important era which we hope that will lead to peace, comprehensive peace between the Arabs and the Israelis. I have no doubts of your efforts, and you show your balance since you are taking office, and I believe that we are as Arabs serious in peace – but fair peace, a fair deal for both parties. Thank you very much.

SECRETARY KERRY: Thank you very much, Mr. Prime Minister. We will have more to say afterwards, if we could ask members of the press. Thank you.
