Please note: You must have Adobe Acrobat to run the PAR CD.

A) Insert the CD-ROM labeled "Fiscal Year 2005 Performance and Accountability Report" (FY 2005 PAR) into the CD-ROM drive. The CD-ROM should automatically load an 11-page Adobe Acrobat file that serves as the "Main Menu." The "Main Menu" contains links to the FY 2005 PAR, as well as links to "Additional Information", such as relevant publications, reports and websites.

B) If the CD does not load automatically, please follow these steps: 1) Double-click the icon labeled "My Computer" on the desktop. 2) Double-click the drive labeled "CD-ROM Drive" (Your drive may be labeled "CD-RW Drive" or "DVD/CD-RW Drive"). This option will open the CD-ROM drive on your computer. 3) Double-click the file labeled "AutorunPro.EXE". This option will load the CD-ROM and launch the Adobe Acrobat "Main Menu" file.

C) To access the FY 2005 PAR, select the "Performance and Accountability Report for FY 2005" heading on the Main Menu, or click any link under this heading to go directly to a specific section of the report. Once opened, you can navigate throughout the entire report using the "Bookmarks" tab in the navigation pane. To return to the main menu, select the "Window" option on the Adobe Acrobat toolbar (located at the top of the screen) and select the file "2005PARIntroPage.pdf".

D) To view relevant reports, such as the Joint State/USAID Strategic Plan, GAO Program Evaluations, maps, or other items featured on the CD, select the desired link from the list under the "Additional Information" heading on the Main Menu.
