Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken to Travel to Turkey

Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken will travel to Ankara, Turkey September 26-28 for meetings with senior Turkish officials to discuss the United States’ ongoing cooperation with Turkey in the fight against Da’esh and other strategic and bilateral issues. The Deputy Secretary will be joined in Ankara by Brett McGurk, Special Presidential Envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter ISIL, and Jonathan Cohen, Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs.
