Assistant Secretary Frank A. Rose To Travel to Lithuania, Switzerland, Germany, and Norway

Assistant Secretary for Arms Control, Verification and Compliance Frank A. Rose will visit Lithuania, Switzerland, Germany, and Norway June 11-21 for events and bilateral meetings on strategic stability and arms control.

On June 13, Assistant Secretary Rose will meet with senior officials at the Lithuanian Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs to discuss strategic stability and arms control, among other issues.

On June 14-15, Assistant Secretary Rose will be in Geneva, Switzerland, for bilateral and multilateral meetings on issues covered by the Geneva Conference on Disarmament. While in Geneva, he will also meet with P5 counterparts.

Assistant Secretary Rose will be in Berlin, Germany, from June 16-18 for meetings with senior officials from the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Bundestag. He will also speak on nuclear disarmament and missile defense at a conference hosted by the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP).

Assistant Secretary Rose will travel to Oslo, Norway, to meet with senior officials at the Norwegian Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense to discuss strategic stability and arms control, among other topics June 19-21.
