Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Nisha Biswal will travel to San Diego, May 12–14, to engage business, higher education, and community leaders on how the United States can enhance trade, connectivity, and people-to-people ties with South and Central Asia as a key part of the Obama Administration’s Asia Rebalance.

While in San Diego, the Assistant Secretary will deliver the keynote address at the 33rd annual Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Lecture at the University of California, San Diego.
