Assistant Secretary Nuland Travel to Cyprus and France
On April 18, Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland will travel to Nicosia, Cyprus, where she will meet with officials of the Cypriot Government to discuss further advancing U.S.-Cypriot relations, as well as regional issues. She will also meet with Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot leaders to convey continued U.S. support for a fair and lasting settlement of the Cyprus problem through the process facilitated by the UN Secretary-General’s Good Offices Mission. In addition, the Assistant Secretary will meet with UN Special Advisor Espen Barth Eide.
Assistant Secretary Nuland will then travel to Paris, France, April 20-21, to discuss a range of regional and global issues with senior government officials.
