Assistant Secretary Frank A. Rose to Travel to Turkey, United Kingdom, and Colorado
Assistant Secretary for Arms Control, Verification and Compliance Frank A. Rose will travel to Ankara, London, Colorado Springs, and Denver, April 6 – April 15.
On April 8, Assistant Secretary Rose will meet with senior officials from the Turkish Ministries of Foreign Affairs and National Defense to discuss missile defense, space security, arms control, as well as other bilateral and NATO related security issues.
Assistant Secretary Rose will travel to London to meet with counterparts at the Foreign Commonwealth Office and the Ministry of Defence to discuss strategic stability, the International Partnership for Nuclear Disarmament Verification (IPNDV), and related issues. Assistant Secretary Rose will speak at the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House) on April 11 on space security. On April 12, Assistant Secretary Rose will deliver remarks at the 2016 Missile Defense Conference hosted by the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI).
Assistant Secretary Rose will travel to Colorado Springs, Colorado where he will give remarks on April 14 at the 32nd Space Symposium emphasizing the critical role of diplomacy in promoting the safety, security, and sustainability of the outer space environment.
On April 15, Assistant Secretary Rose will be in Denver, Colorado to speak to a group of civic leaders and national security professionals at a roundtable organized by WorldDenver.
