Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken Travel to Turkey, March 22-23

Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken will lead an interagency delegation to Turkey March 22-23 for the 4th U.S.-Turkey Working Group on Regional Security Issues to discuss ways to further strengthen U.S.-Turkey cooperation on security and counterterrorism, particularly with respect to the crisis in Syria and Coalition effort to defeat Daesh. The working group will include representatives from respective diplomatic, defense, and intelligence agencies.

While in Ankara, Deputy Secretary Blinken will also conduct meetings with Turkish officials to discuss bilateral and other regional issues.
