Secretary Kerry's Meeting with Qatar, Italy and the United Nations

Secretary of State John Kerry met with his counterparts from Qatar and Italy, Foreign Ministers al-Thani and Gentilioni, along with UN SRSG for Libya, Martin Kobler, to review counter-ISIL efforts and to discuss the current political situation in Libya, and how the international community could further support Libyan efforts to move forward with its new Government of National Accord. The Ministers agreed to urge Libya's Presidency Council to agree on a final cabinet to submit to the county's legislature, the House of Representatives, for a final vote on Monday February 8.
