U.S.-Japan-Republic of Korea Trilateral Meeting in Washington, D.C.

U.S. Special Representative for North Korea Policy Sung Kim will host a trilateral meeting in Washington, December 3, with ROK Special Representative for Korean Peninsula Peace and Security Affairs Hwang Joon-kook and Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Director-General for Asian and Oceanian Affairs Kimihiro Ishikane to exchange views on a wide range of issues related to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. He will also hold bilateral meetings with both Special Representative Hwang and Director-General Ishikane.

These discussions reflect the close cooperation among our three countries and our continued focus on pursuing the verifiable denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula in a peaceful manner.
