Policy Planning Director McKean Travels to India and Burma
The Director of Policy Planning, David McKean, will travel to India, November 17–18. In New Delhi, he will hold the first U.S.-India Policy Planning talks with the Indian Ministry of External Affairs. These talks were established at the 2015 U.S.-India Strategic and Commercial Dialogue as part of a New Diplomacy Partnership between the United States and India. While in New Delhi, Director McKean will meet with officials from various Indian government ministries and think tanks.
On November 19, Director McKean will travel to Burma for meetings with foreign affairs experts and civil society representatives to discuss the outcome of the elections and Burma’s reform process.
