Question:  Please provide a readout of Secretary Kerry's meetings with Mohamed and Hanaa Soltan.  

Answer:  Secretary Kerry met with Mohamed Soltan and his sister yesterday, and expressed his happiness to see him out of prison and safely home in America.  They discussed Mohamed's experiences in Egypt, the conditions of his detention, and the importance of distinguishing between peaceful dissent and violent extremism in the fight against terrorism.  The Secretary reaffirmed America's commitment to promoting respect for human rights and space for civil society as part of our engagement with Egypt.
