Under Secretary Rose Gottemoeller Travels to Austria and the United Kingdom
From June 9-10, Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Rose Gottemoeller will be in Vienna, Austria to lead the U.S. Delegation to the Open Skies Treaty Review Conference. While in Vienna, Under Secretary Gottemoeller will have additional meetings on international security issues with a number of officials including IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano, CTBTO Executive Secretary Lassina Zerbo and counterparts from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On June 11, Under Secretary Gottemoeller will travel to the United Kingdom and attend a Wilton Park conference on deterrence issues. On June 12, she will meet with her British counterparts at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to discuss arms control and nonproliferation issues.
