Coordinator Macon Phillips' Travel to India

Bureau of International Information Programs Coordinator Macon Phillips will travel to India April 20-30.

Coordinator Phillips will visit New Delhi April 20-24. He will visit the American Center and meet business leaders, journalists, digital influencers, and civil society leaders to discuss climate change, sustainability efforts, and entrepreneurship.

While in Bangalore, April 27-28, Coordinator Phillips will visit the American Corner to discuss using social media for social good with young alumni of U.S. Government-funded exchange programs. He will meet with business leaders and non-profits to discuss climate change, as well as foundation leaders working on green initiatives.

On April 29-30, Coordinator Phillips will travel to Mumbai. He will meet with young women doing innovative IT work in Dharavi and will discuss internet governance and freedom with social media and marketing leaders.
