U.S.-Russia INF Treaty Compliance Meeting in Moscow
Representatives of the United States and Russia met today, September 11, in Moscow to discuss issues of Russian non-compliance with the INF Treaty, as raised by the United States.
Both sides acknowledged the importance of the INF Treaty and reconfirmed their commitment to it. Although the U.S. concerns were not assuaged in this meeting, the parties had a useful exchange of views. They agreed to continue the dialogue.
As we move forward, we will continue to keep Congress and our allies informed of this matter.
