Coordinator Macon Phillips Travel to Bangladesh and Kazakhstan June 8-17

Coordinator Macon Phillips of the Bureau of International Information Programs will travel to Bangladesh and Kazakhstan June 8-17.

During his visit to Dhaka, Bangladesh June 8-11, Coordinator Phillips will visit the Edward M. Kennedy Center for Public Service and the Arts, one of the Department’s premier American Spaces, to participate in Environmental Day celebrations and entrepreneurship initiatives. While visiting Almaty, Kazakhstan June 12-15, Coordinator Phillips will participate in a TechForum, through which the Department of State pairs leaders in the technology community with civil society organizations to provide training, resources, and assistance.
