Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy R. Sherman to Travel to Canada
Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy R. Sherman will travel to Ottawa, Canada, January 7. She will lead a U.S. delegation to the fourth U.S.-Canada High Level Policy Review Group. The Review Group will discuss U.S. and Canadian cooperation on North American, hemispheric, and global issues of mutual concern, as well as a range of strategic issues including security, counter-terrorism, and our shared border.
Other members of the U.S. delegation include Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs Kevin O’Reilly; Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Gerald Feierstein; Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs Kin Moy; Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Bisa Williams; Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Brent R. Hartley; and Coordinator for Cyber Issues Christopher Painter.
