African Leaders Participate in Discussion on "Consolidating Democratic Gains, Promoting African Prosperity" During Visit to Strengthen Partnerships
On March 29, President Koroma of Sierra Leone, President Sall of Senegal, President Banda of Malawi and Prime Minister Neves of Cape Verde will participate in a panel discussion at the U.S. Institute for Peace titled “Consolidating Democratic Gains, Promoting African Prosperity” to discuss how to take advantage of opportunities based on the positive outcomes of democracy. This event will be moderated by Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Johnnie Carson.
