William R. Brownfield, Assistant Secretary of State for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, will deliver remarks on the topic of civilian security in Central America on March 22, 2013.

The event is organized by the Council of the Americas, whose ongoing programming aims to facilitate information exchange and discussion of current events and issues pertinent to the Western Hemisphere. It is open to the public and accredited media and will take place at the Carnegie International Endowment for Peace, 1799 Massachusetts Ave., N.W.
