Acting Under Secretary for Arms Control and International Security Rose Gottemoeller will travel to Austin, Texas on Friday, March 8 as part of the Department of State’s ongoing outreach to universities on Arms Control in the Information Age. She will deliver remarks at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin on nuclear arms control for the 21^st century

Acting Under Secretary Gottemoeller will also participate at the South by Southwest Interactive (SXSW 2013). Her Interactive Session, Mobilizing Ingenuity to Strengthen Global Security, will be moderated by Daniel Terdiman of CNET News. The session will focus on a unique opportunity for the public to contribute to enhancing global security.
