Firm Selections Announced for Architect and Engineering Services IDIQ Contracts
The Department of State’s Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) has selected Paladino & Company and SGM Engineering, Inc., for indefinite quantity/ indefinite delivery (IDIQ) contracts to provide professional architectural and engineering services including expertise in energy and sustainability initiatives.
Thirty-five firms responded to the public notification for prospective offerors to compete. The selected firms will provide expertise in areas such as strategic sustainability planning, net-zero energy and water studies, carbon reduction analysis, renewable energy design, energy and water audits, measurement and verification, life-cycle-cost-analysis, and engineering statistical analysis. Additionally, they will support the Department in further developing our reporting mechanisms and supporting publications for our sustainability programs.
OBO’s mission is to provide safe, secure, and functional facilities that represent the U.S. Government to the host nation and support our staff in the achievement of U.S. foreign policy objectives. These facilities should represent American values and the best in American architecture, engineering, technology, sustainability, maintainability, art, culture, and construction execution.
