Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism Hannah Rosenthal will travel to the United Kingdom from July 23-27. In London, she will participate with Special Representative to Muslim Communities Farah Pandith, in activities surrounding 2012 Hours Against Hate-Walk A Mile in the lead-up to the opening of the Summer Olympic Games, including the final Olympic torch relay stop in Haringey, a concert headlined by Dave Stewart, The Beyond Sport Summit, and an event with Howard Buffett’s Global Impact Institute.

The 2012 Hours Against Hate campaign, which is focused on combating hatred and bigotry, encourages young people to volunteer hours of service. The London Olympic Committee granted 2012 Hours Against Hate, teamed with the Walk-A-Mile campaign, use of the official London 2012 Inspire Mark for the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games.
