G-8 Leader Airport Arrivals
On Thursday, May 17 and Friday, May 18, 2012, world leaders will arrive at Dulles International Airport ahead of the upcoming G-8 Summit at Camp David.
Members of the media who wish to cover any of these arrivals must RSVP by 5:00 PM EDT on Friday, May 11, 2012. RSVP must include, for each individual: full legal name, name of media outlet, role (reporter, photographer, videographer or audio), email address and mobile phone number. To request access for a live truck, RSVP must include: vehicle make, model and license plate information. RSVP with full information to request access to G8Arrivals@state.gov.
An updated schedule with leader arrivals and media call times will be distributed to those who have requested access as soon as times have been confirmed.
Please note: This advisory pertains only to the leader arrivals at Dulles International Airport. The G-8 Summit is pooled press only. Leader airport departures will be closed press.

Location: Dulles International Airport, Sterling, Virginia
Media Parking and Media Check-in: Dulles Airport "Red Lot", located at the intersection of Rudder Road and Autopilot Road on Washington Dulles International airport. Shuttles will be provided periodically between the "Red Lot" and the arrivals ramp.
Live Truck Parking: Report to Dulles Airport "Red Lot", parking will be directed on-site.
Media Pre-set: N/A
Throw: 150-300 feet
Cable run: 250 feet
Power will be provided. Workspace and Internet are not available.
All names submitted for credentials must be accurate and reflect the identification media presents at checkpoints for entrance. Accepted identification will be (1) A U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification card (driver's license, passport). RSVPs do not guarantee access. The Department of State will issue a confirmation email if you will receive access to cover the event.
