Secretary Clinton to Deliver Remarks on American Global Leadership to the Center for American Progress on October 12

On October 12, 2011, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will deliver remarks on American global leadership at the “American Idea: A More Perfect Union” Conference hosted by the Center for American Progress, at the Decatur House in Washington, DC.

Secretary Clinton’s remarks at approximately 12:00 p.m. will be open to credentialed members of the media. Her remarks will be followed by a question and answer session with the audience. The Center for American Progress is holding a two-day conference “American Idea: A More Perfect Union” to examine the core American ideas and values that have catalyzed progress and innovation in our country on October 11-12 in Washington, DC.
