Amanda Mansour joined the Secretary’s Policy Planning Staff in August 2014. Her portfolio covers consular affairs, global women’s issues, and matters related to population, migration and refugees.

Previously, she served as a special assistant in the Public Affairs Front Office, and overseas at U.S. Consulate Adana and U.S. Embassy Prague. Prior to joining the Foreign Service, she worked in the U.S. Senate. She holds a B.A. in political science from Columbia University.
