Drew McCracken is Chief of Staff on the Policy Planning Staff. Previously, he served as a Senior Advisor for the Quadrennial Diplomacy and Development Review and in the Bureau of Economic, Energy, and Business Affairs. Prior to joining the Department, he served as the chief federal policy advisor for Governor Ted Strickland and Director of the State of Ohio’s office in Washington, D.C. He also worked as a business consultant at the Albright Stonebridge Group and as a legislative aide on Capitol Hill. Drew received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth and his graduate degree from the London School of Economics.
