"The Milan World Expo of 2015 is a chance for us to share with the world the work that American scientists, chefs, entrepreneurs, farmers, fishermen all continue to do day in and day out."Secretary of State John Kerry

The USA Pavilion at Milan Expo 2015 showcased American expertise and planted the seeds for more trade and investment between the United States and its international partners. Companies helping sponsor the USA Pavilion reached new audiences in every corner of the globe. U.S. participation expanded opportunities for American businesses overseas and strengthened trade between the United States and Europe -- the largest trade relationship in the world.

During the six months of the Milan Expo, the pavilion, with the theme of "American Food 2.0: United to Feed the Planet," highlighted America’s contributions to food security, sustainability, and innovation. Our James Beard American Restaurant and cluster of food trucks also fostered awareness and enthusiasm for American food in all its aspects.
